Dear Desert Dress
Photo taken at the weekend at a
1940's event at our local air museum.
I'm wearing an authentic copy (including sandals) of the British
western desert uniform from WW2, the unit is the LRDG (Long Range
Desert Group) I have also attached the unit badge to the Igal, it is a
scorpion held in a circle

Dear all at Desert Dress,
Thanks for the Thobe. Here it is seen at a military vehicle and re-enactment
show in Dublin last summer. The Head-dress is Lebanese courtesy of a work
colleague of mine, and the Land Rover is ex-Saudi Army. Hope you don't
mind the mix-n-match, but the end result got lots of positive attention!

Very comfortable and one size fit all. I was looking for a
